Maintain nutritious meal service in your child care by making sure you follow updated regulations. The USDA continues to look at recommendations for making meals healthier for children, and more improvements will be coming. Your sponsor will let you know about any changes to the Meal Patterns, and you can also read about changes here. Check this page for upcoming training sessions your sponsor has scheduled.

CACFP Federal Rates of Reimbursement

 

August 17th, 2025

The USDA has adjusted the national payment rates for meals and snacks served in the CACFP to reflect changes in the Consumer Price Index.  

The DPI has revised Guidance Memorandum 2 and C (FDCH): CACFP Reimbursement Rates to reflect these adjustments. The new reimbursement rates are effective July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026.

Child and Adult Care: GM 2: CACFP Reimbursement Rates - Effective July 1, 2025.

Family Day Care: GM C: CACFP Reimbursement Rates - Effective July 1, 2025.
